Pueblo, CO: A keenly aware Pueblo County Sheriff’s detention deputy found more than 300 suspected fentanyl pills on a woman as she was being booked into Pueblo County Jail Saturday night on a traffic warrant. A Sheriff’s Patrol deputy initially contacted the woman, identified as Brandy L. Apodaca, 49, at the Loaf N Jug, 1700 Santa Fe Drive, when she had asked for a courtesy ride to her home. The deputy did a routine clearance of Apodaca prior to giving her a ride and learned she had an outstanding traffic warrant. The deputy arrested Apodaca on the warrant and transported her to the Pueblo County Jail.
