Civil / Fugitive

Civil/Fugitive is responsible for the service of all civil papers received by the Sheriff's Office, serving in both the city and county of Pueblo. The Civil Section also executes all court orders involving civil process issued by the Courts. The Fugitive Section is responsible for processing warrant information, making warrant arrests and for arranging fugitive transportation for out of state inmates. This section is staffed with one sergeant, three detectives, and two criminal justice technicians.

Services

The processes of Civil Service can be confusing to anyone. Navigating through the paperwork and legal requirements is something the Pueblo County Sheriff's Office is happy to help with. We can answer your questions during business hours but have also offered a large amount of information on the web pages to help make your journey easier. The Civil Fugitives Section also plays a large part in the apprehension of wanted persons in our County.

You may mail or personally deliver papers to the Pueblo County Sheriff's Office for service once you have filed with the court of record.
